You sit alone in your room at night—maybe studying, working, thinking, watching a movie, or just getting ready to sleep. Suddenly, you begin to feel watched. You don’t know why. Your mind whispers, “I’m not alone. There’s something here with me.”
You smile foolishly and say, “Come on, stop it. You’re imagining things.”
But then—a cold breeze brushes past you.
You freeze.
“Oh God… is this real?”
You start to believe it: Something is with you.
In this article, we share real stories from people who were completely alone… or so they thought.
Are they strange? Creepy? Or maybe even real?
Tell us what you think after reading—
And have you ever experienced something like this before?
The Girl and the Kitchen Dishes
Alice, a 17-year-old girl, lived with her mother in a cozy yet busy neighborhood in the heart of New York. On the day of her younger sister’s birthday, her mother went out with the little girl to buy some last-minute items. She asked Alice to decorate the house and get everything ready for the party.
Alice turned on some music on her tablet and began cleaning. As she was nearly done, a sudden noise startled her—it came from the kitchen.
She rushed over.
The cabinet door was wide open. Plates were crashing down one after another, creating a loud, chaotic clatter that sent a chill down Alice’s spine.
She later insisted:
“I never touched that cabinet. I didn’t even go near it.”

Someone Is Messing with My Drawings
A middle-aged man who preferred isolation due to the nature of his work—he needed peace, focus, and silence. He was a gifted artist, spending long hours in the deepest room of his house, surrounded by his colors and endless sketches.
Everything was perfect… until one day he came home and was shocked.
One of his drawings had changed—completely.
It was no longer the same.
Now it looked dark… twisted… terrifying.
He stared at it, confused.
“I don’t draw like this. I’ve never painted something so disturbing. I don’t even know how to.”
He tried to laugh it off. “Maybe it’s a prank,” he thought.
But then again—he had never given anyone a key to his house.
Still, he chose to ignore it.
But that wasn’t the last time.
Almost every day, something new would shift.
He’d leave his paint neatly arranged on the table, only to find it scattered on the floor when he returned.
Even his large chair—once always in its place—would sometimes be all the way across the room.
It was terrifying.
It was unsettling.
And worst of all,
There was no explanation.

The Catastrophic Dorm Room
A new girl had just moved to college. She preferred living alone in a dorm room without a roommate—she loved playing her musical instrument and didn’t want to disturb anyone.
At first, everything went just the way she hoped.
She was happy.
Peaceful.
Alone.
But not for long.
Soon, strange things began to happen.
She would fall asleep and wake up to find her belongings in completely different places.
Some of her food had already been eaten.
Annoyed and suspicious, she thought, “One of the other girls must be sneaking into my room and messing with my stuff.”
So, she bought a lock for the door—an internal one.
She made sure to lock it from the inside every night.
But then, something worse happened.
One night, she was awakened by the sound of music—someone was playing her instrument.
Her heart raced.
She stayed still.
Pretending to sleep, hoping to catch whoever it was.
But when she finally gathered the courage to open her eyes…
There was no one there.

The Man in the Hospital Hallways
(As told by the night shift security camera operator)
“I always sit through my night shifts with heavy boredom. Nothing unusual ever happens—nothing suspicious or worth noting. Just long hours of quiet surveillance.
But in the past few nights, something changed.
I began noticing an old man walking through the hospital hallways after midnight.
He would appear around 12:30 a.m. and disappear by 2:00 a.m.
He walked slowly, leaning on a cane, moving calmly through the corridors.
At first, I thought nothing of it. But then I started watching him night after night. Same time. Same walk. Same cane.
One morning, after finishing my shift, I was leaving the hospital when I ran into one of the nurses. Out of curiosity, I asked her about the elderly man who wandered the halls every night.
She looked at me, confused for a moment—then said:
‘The man you’re describing sounds like Mr. [Name], but… he passed away about a week ago.’

That’s all we have for today.
Now it’s your turn, dear reader—
Have you ever felt something strange, something you couldn’t explain?
As for me? Yes, sometimes.
But I believe the world is vast, and full of things we’re not yet meant to understand.
Still, on a more comforting note, I’ll tell you this:
The human mind doesn’t like silence. When left alone in quiet and boredom, it begins to invent things… illusions, distractions—sometimes even companions.
Wouldn’t you agree?
See you next time.
And hey…
Watch your back.
Something might be there.
